Finding your way in the creative life can be challenging. I love sharing my expertise and stories with groups interested in food, wine & travel, writing, art and the creative process.
Listen to my PechaKucha talk, What the Oyster Taught Me!
Fun, informative, inspirational talks for your food & wine, creativity & art, or leadership events.
Food, Wine & Travel
I love to educate groups about sustainable wine, food pairing, oysters and more. I have given well-received presentations at many groups, including Women of WineSense, Uncruise Rivers of Wine & Culinary Cruise up the Columbia River, the Small Town Conference, and elsewhere. If you want a fun and educational presentation, let’s talk!
I am the author of The Green Vine: A Guide to West Coast Organic, Biodynamic and Sustainable Wines and Chefs on the Farm: Inspired Recipes and Lessons from the Quillisascut Farm School of the Domestic Arts. My articles on wine, food and travel have been published in Seattle, Washington Tasting Room, Wine Press Northwest, NW Palate, and other magazines.
Creative Process Inspiration
Developing your process as an artist of any kind can be chaotic and frustrating. In working through my own process, I’m developing ways that are working for me and my friends, and writing about it on my blog – towards turning it into a book. If you have stories or input about great ways to create more focused process in your life and work, I would love to hear from you!
Leadership & Personal Strategic Planning
As the program director for Leadership San Juan Islands, I have helped guide two cohorts through the public speaking process, gaining new skills and finding their genius zone. If you need an inspirational speaker at your leadership event, let’s connect!
