Create a Vision Script Page on your website

A Vision Script page on your website is a place to hold
all your goals, pillars and ideas for the year.

I’ve always loved setting goals.
(call it the Capricorn in me - the goat rambling up
to the next peak to take in the view).

But goals really aren’t enough - there’s more to getting where you want to go:

Mindset, thought work, coaching, community, finances, managing your mind, belief plans, hard work, and more.

Personally, I need to gather as much support as I can get.

I need a larger “vision” for the future which includes my core values, pillars that help me simplify my overall ideas, and a “mission statement for how I want to contribute to the world.

This gives you a broader way to look at a plan for your year, and helps you to think about the bigger picture, whether that be for personal or business goals.

One of my favorite coaches, Michael Hyatt, who creates the Full Focus Planner (my favorite!) introduced me to the idea of a “vision script,” an ever-changing document that helps me keep all the ideas in one place.

I thought, why not take that one step further and create a Vision Script PAGE on my website - whether private, or public - to have a place to put all my ideas in one place and visit it at any time, with images, graphics and art that brings it to life for me - and perhaps for others?

So I did!

Take a look:

I also created a webinar to walk you through how I did it - and make it easy for you to create this type of page on your website - scroll down to watch it.

The webinar also talks about a new class I created JUST for artists, Build Your Art Website on Squarespace, and gives you some ideas for creating a Vision Script Page.

Here’s short list of some of the things you can include:

I hope this information inspires you to try something new, creative and useful on your own website,

whether it is on Squarepspace or some other platform.

Just so you know, I’m a Certified Squarespace Circle Member Designer, a certified Life Coach, and I started my own business as an art & business coach. Now I help artists create businesses they LOVE.

I’ve been planning on creating a new class for a couple of years now - and finally Squarespace really upped their game with their Courses platform. It is easy and beautiful to create courses on. I eventually want to teach artists how to create art classes, but first things first.

A basic “Build Your Art Website on Squarespace” Course was my first venture into creating online courses. Its not perfect, but I want to model this process for other artists who want to teach, and build their own sites, teach courses, and more.

I want to help artists have more financial freedom, and create more things they love in their businesses.

If you have questions, I go into more detail about the Squarespace class here:

If you have more questions, or just want to talk through your goals and thoughts about your website, please don’t hesitate to email me at hello@shannonborg.com.
