Build Your Art Website on Squarespace

Just 4 years ago, I had NO clue about websites.

I was struggling with my Wordpress site, frustrated,
and avoiding it.
Like many artists,

I just wanted to paint.

I was a “technophobe, too!”

I feel bad for my first website coach, because I was always emailing her saying - “I just spent 8 hours on this SMALL task that should have taken me 10 minutes! AAAGH!”

I was in the “River of Misery” - that place we spent a LOT of time in when we are learning something new.

But I wanted to create something beautiful - a unique home for my art to live online.

And I wanted to easily maintain it myself.

So I embraced the struggle, took classes, and learned. I persevered.

Because I also wanted to help other artists conquer “starving artist” syndrome.

I finally discovered Squarespace, and after a while - this was the platform that allowed me to be creative with my art website - what a concept!

I started blogging, posting my art, and engaging with other humans - artists, collectors, students, galleries - about art. It turned out to be a great tool to keep my art active, alive and moving forward.

So I kept at it, and eventually became a Certified Squarespace Circle Member Designer, a certified Life Coach, and I started my own business as an art & business coach. Now I help artists create businesses they LOVE.

I’ve been planning on creating this class for a couple of years now - and finally Squarespace really upped their game with their Courses platform. It is easy and beautiful to create courses on. I eventually want to teach artists how to create art classes, but first things first.

A basic “Build Your Art Website on Squarespace” Course was my first venture into creating online courses. Its not perfect, but I want to model this process for other artists who want to teach, and build their own sites, teach courses, and more.

This class has

I want to help artists have more financial freedom, and create more things they love in their businesses.
